The Patient GUI and The Practice GUI

    The Practice GUI

    The Practice GUI allows the medical office to interact with PCG and to manage their PCG settings.

    The Patient GUI

    Patients can interact with PCG via the Patient GUI. From the Patient GUI, patients can:

    • View statements and letters
    • Make online payments towards statement balance
    • Send and receive secure email to the practice
    • Request appointments
    • Request prescription refills
    • Pre-register
    • Update their demographic information

    Patient Preferences

    The Delivery Engine will always respect patient preferences. Patients can opt-out of receiving communications from any of the supported delivery methods. That means for example, that if a patient doesn’t want to receive appointment reminders via text message, PCG will never do so.

    Patient preferences can be set by the practice (using the Practice GUI) as well as by the patient (using the Patient GUI).
