The Micro Office Systems Patient Communication Gateway (PCG) platform is the foundation on top of which all of the PCG modules are built.

It is designed to be flexible and expandable and can be easily integrated with just about any system.

The PCG platform is built using the latest Microsoft technologies and is secure, fully HIPAA compatible and highly scalable. PCG can scale to support millions of transactions and message a day. One of the ways PCG does this is by using Microsoft queuing technology (MSMQ) to ensure that it can manage high throughput, real-time communications without the possibility of losing data. Using MSMQ along with other Microsoft technologies also allows PCG to distribute processing across multiple servers. As more processing power is needed, more servers can be added to handle the workload.
