Alerting and Monitoring Engine

    The alerting and monitoring engine is responsible for monitoring all the communications and data that’s in the system. It is a rule based engine that will send alerts (by email, text message or any of the supported delivery methods listed above) when certain events happen or when certain conditions are met.

    The alerting and monitoring engine sends alerts such as:

    • Practices and dealers can be alerted if an extended period of time goes by with no data coming from the PMS/EMR system.
    • Alerts can be sent if there is an error in the data that comes from the PMS/EMR system.
    • Alerts can be sent if it’s past the date when statements should be sent out, but they still haven’t been generated by the practice.
