Refund Check Writer For MicroMD®


The RefundCheckWriter is a tool that will generate refund checks for patients or insurance companies based on filters you set. After the checks are printed, the transactions are automatically posted back to MicroMD®. This application can be integrated into the MicroMD menu.



Features

Setting Options gives you flexibilty with how you set the:

Filters
  • Posting Dates or Service Dates
  • Accounts and Locations
  • Refund Range – The range of amounts to consider for generating refunds.
  • Min Aging – The minimum number of days the sequence has aged.
  • Responsibility – Selection of responsible party: patient, insurance or both.
Posting
  • Trial Run – Allows users to run a trial to preview data before printing & posting
  • Starting Check Number – Option to choose starting check number
  • Refund Proc Code – Selection of which refund procedure code to post
  • Print Confirmation – there may be times when checks fail to print (printer jam, etc) and you don’t want the transaction posted to the database. This gives you control over printing, reprinting and posting of checks and their transactions.

Design You Own Check

You can easily edit and design the content of the printed checks. Easily decide which fields get printed (i.e. the name, address, amount, location, etc) and where the fields get placed on the check.
