Run Custom Reports within MicroMD®


AnyReport is a tool that allows you to run your own custom reports. These reports can run either from the MicroMD® menu, the AnyReport utility from a Windows shortcut or a batch file. Batch files can be run on a periodic basis through the Windows Scheduler, allowing reports to be run automatically at regular intervals. Your reports can be displayed visually, sent to a printer, or emailed as an attachment (in a variety of formats, including PDF). Among AnyReport's numerous features, AnyReport has “relative dating”, where you can, for example, deploy custom reports so that your reports for the previous month are run each month on the 1st and are waiting for you in your inbox or on your printer.

AnyReport comes with over a hundred standard reports distributed with the AnyReport engine. You can also obtain custom reports that will run with AnyReport either from your reseller, from Henry Schein Medical Systems (if you have no reseller) or from Micro-Office Systems, Inc.




Features include:

Besides the ability to view reports, as can be done within MicroMD®, there are a number of features within the reports themselves that are unique to AnyReport. These include:
  • Run reports directly from a shortcut, a batch file, or the MicroMD® menu
  • Report options can be saved and can be easily be reused when running the report again.
  • Report output can be saved as a PDF, RTF, TIFF, HTML, or Excel document.
  • “Relative Dating”, through which all date filtering can be done relative to the current date. For example, in a report that allows for the specification of a service date range, values can be entered that represent any date range including “last month”, "last quarter" or "last year". These options can then be saved and reused later.
  • “Dynamic Grouping”, which allows you to specify not only which levels you want to group on, but in which order you want the grouping to occur. Therefore, you can easily decide to run a report grouped by provider and then location, or flip the order and group by location and then provider.
  • “Dynamic Ordering”, which allows you to order the data based on one or more of more fields at run-time.
  • Enterprise mode: view reports across multiple practices
