AnyCode:

A more complete code load solution

Maintenance of diagnosis and procedure codes, including procedure code fees and allowed amounts, can be very challenging. AnyCode provides a robust, complete solution for loading codes into MicroMD®. Micro-Office Systems, Inc. will provide AMA and CMS code databases customized for AnyCode as they become available, but AnyCode also allows for entering codes and fee information from your own data (in csv format). Allowed amounts are calculated for the practice’s specific location using the RVU calculation rules, and then fees can be created from the allowed amounts in various ways.

Feature List

AnyCode has a very complete list of filters and options. These include:
  • Data load from Micro-Office provided databases (AMA & CMS) or text files
  • Filters to load specific ranges of codes
  • Filters to load fee schedules for specific providers
  • Filter to load allowed amounts for specific plans, insurance classes, or insurance categories
  • Can filter to load fees for specific plans, insurance classes, insurance categories, or charge classes
  • Can update procedure code standard charge, Medicare charge, or both
  • From code lists, can create new codes and/or update existing codes (fee and/or allowed and/or description and/or effective dates) and/or mark expired codes as invalid
  • Can update allowed amounts and RVU based on location-specific RVU calculated data
  • Can update fees by adjusting allowed amounts by a fixed percentage, rounded to the nearest penny, dime, or dollar
  • Can associate a MicroMD® procedure extension character with specific modifiers. For example, if modifier ‘TC’ is associated with extension character ‘T’, then when procedure code “12345” with modifier “TC” is loaded, it will get created in MicroMD® as procedure code “12345T”
  • Can set most default values for new procedure and diagnosis codes
  • Can create codes as practice-specific or shared codes

Support for Customization

While AnyCode is a very flexible tool, there may be formats that AnyCode does not support. Micro-Office Systems, Inc. can assist in either converting data into a format readable by AnyCode or in loading the data directly with custom rules. Please contact Micro-Office Systems, Inc. for more information.
