ViewTxn: Account Transaction View (viewTxns).
Displays account transactions. From a single screen, the user can switch between open items and history. The user can also switch between the following views: Charges, Payments, Transactions (Charges and Payments in posting date order), Charges with Payment Application, and Payments with Split Detail. For each view, there are multiple "styles" of presentation, so you can see the fields you prefer. Transaction views use multiple colors on supported terminals. User can also filter for a range of dates, CPT© code, Dependent, Dr, or Insurance. Movement keys supported: Page Up, Page Down, Beginning, End, Jump (to any line #; default is the middle). Shows the plan numbers AND NAMES of the primary and secondary insurance. Archived History files can be seamlessly integrated into the view, and the All-Transaction mode shows a combination of History Transaction as well as non-daily-closed open items. Hardcopy can printed, and sort order can be specified.

Occupational Medicine Module (OCCMED)

Master Patient Index for Med Mgr (MPI).
Allows the user to locate a patient in any dataset using Name, Account #, Phone #, Birth Date, Patient IDs, City, Zip Code, SSN, Doctor or Sex. Any combination of those fields may be used. The application will use available indexes, so that all matching records can be found within seconds. The default limit of 20 datasets can be increased by a user parameter to virtually any number. Once matching records are located, the user can scroll through the list, apply additional filters, select which information to view about patients, and select various sorting orders. Once located, a patient can then be copied to the current dataset. The copy function supports mapping of support files; new mappings can be created on-the-fly via help table lookups; support file records that do not exist in the current dataset can be copied on-the-fly. The MPI design requires that all datasets be simultaneously available as directories to the system running the MPI. A customized application will be required if the datasets are on discrete systems (and therefore a batch index update method must be used). An option to the MPI is the MPI AnyReport Writer. MPI AnyReport offers all of the features of AnyReport, and adds an additional filter/break option by dataset. This option will accommodate nearly any multi-dataset reporting need. MPI is not considered part of the basic DML Library; a separate serialization is required.

Dataset Doctor Purge/Dataset Split for Med Mgr (drDel).
Purges all records in a dataset belonging to any of a list of doctors. In addition, the purged records can be exported to Medical-Manager-format datafiles (effectively splitting the dataset). A Date Range can be specified, and control over mixed account/transaction situations is given.

Allows two datasets which are running independently to synchronize each other periodically (i.e via a daily modem update). A typical scenario is a remote office where patients and charges are entered, and a central billing office where reporting, billing and payment entry are performed.
