AnyReport for Medical Manager

Features include:
  • (C)onsole or (P)rinter: Use this to select where you wish the output to go: (C)onsole for the screen, (P)rinter for the current Medical Manager Application printer. The desired printer should be selected before entering the AnyReport Entry Screen.
  • Show Each Record (Y/N): Enter (Y)es to display every record. Enter (N)o to suppress the individual records; only totals and subtotals for each subsection (specified below in Subtotal Sections) will print.
  • Display Style: Controls the layout of the report. Enter the "code" for the desired style. To see a list of the available styles for the type of report you have selected, enter a "?". A list of styles will display: the style "code" appears on the left; a description of the style is shown on the right. You can simply highlight the desired style and press ENTER to select it. If there is more than one page of styles, you can use (N)ext and (P)revious to page through them. To see a sample of a particular style, highlight the style and enter "V" (as in preView). You will be shown a sample screen. If the sample is wider than the screen allows you to see, you can press ENTER to pan back and forth. Some styles look "different" depending on whether you are viewing them with Show Each Record set to (Y)es or (N)o. Those styles will have two samples; enter (S)ummary or (D)etail to switch between the two. Some samples may span more than one page; use(N)ext to page down; use(B)egin to jump back to the top of the sample. When you are through previewing the style, press ESCAPE to return to the list of styles.
  • Determine what types of records to include for the particular type of report you have selected.
  • Date Range: From and Thru: For almost every report, you will wish to limit the report to a date range of some sort. For this reason, a special filter allows you to easily specify a From and Thru date range. In the "From" field, enter the first date you wish to include (leave as {B} for first possible date). In the "Thru" field, enter the last date you wish to include (leave as {E} for last possible date).
  • Filter on doctor, insurance, account number
  • Subtotal Sections: Subtotals allow you to break up the report into sections, and to have summary information appear at the begininng/end of each section. Up to four levels of subsections can be added to reports.
  • Sorting can be defined for each subsection.
