Cleveland (October 14, 2004) --
Micro-Office Systems, Inc., the leader in
enhancing and extending practice management software, today
announced immediate plans to deliver the next version of
AnyMobileCharge (AMC) by the end of first quarter, 2005.
AMC is an enterprise charge capture solution,
allowing care providers the ability to view their schedules,
hospital rounds lists, and full practice active patient lists;
create new patients; enter diagnoses and procedure codes
(charges); and set follow-up criteria. Upon syncing, the
collected data is presented to an intranet application, arming
practice billing staff with the means to edit and selectively
approve charges for automatic transfer into their practice
billing system.
Re-engineered, AMC version 2.0 will leverage
the Windows native Microsoft.NET programming technologies C# and
ASP.net. This strategic decision will enhance performance
and scalability of the product on Microsoft operating system
platforms PocketPC (for the handheld portion of the application)
and Windows Server 2003 (for the billing maintenance
application).
"Partnering with Microsoft will enable us to
offer our customers powerful tools that will exceed their
business objectives. This direction we have chosen (to use
Microsoft technologies) will increase our position as a
healthcare industry leader." Said Micro-Office Systems Chief
Technology Officer, Mike Kalman. AMC version 2.0 has a
scheduled release date of March 30,2005.
